VTech VT2468 2.4GHz Cordless Phone - Don't believe the 2.4GHz hype!
I mean it, don?t believe the hype. If (Cordless_Phone.frequency() > 900 MHz) then (Cordless_Phone.phone_is_better()=true) is not always the case. Sure there are cordless 2.4GHz phones out there that are leaps and bounds better than the average 900 MHz model, but in the case of the VTech VT2468... Read full review »
Pretty Good Phone
We bought our VTech about 1 year ago. It has been a fairly good phone. I believe that we paid about $89 at Staples. Here are some of the features of the phone. It is a 2.4GHz cordless phone. This feature has actually allowed me to go approx. 150 feet from the base and I can still hear good. It has... Read full review »
You get what you pay for
Over all it not a bad phone compared to the GE phone I took back. It has alot of options on it for the money. I love the directory it has on it. I believe it stores up to 40 numbers in the directory and 40 in the caller ID. Thats a lot compared to most phones. I can program it to have a special... Read full review »
BATTERY DEAD AGAIN!!!
I purchased this phone about 1 year ago based upon the phones features and brand name. I have owned two Vtech phones in the past and did not have as many problems between both of them combined as I have had with this model. Two months after purchasing the phone, it would not hold a charge after 20... Read full review »
Another unsatisfied customer
I truly hate this phone.
I bought this phone because we wanted a multi mailbox feature. The phone isn't very old and it doesn't keep a charge for conversations lasting any longer than about 7-10 minutes TOPS! The phone only gives about a 10-15 second warning before it shuts off so I have to...

Purchased Less Than 5 Months Ago
I purchased this cordless phone with built-in answering machine October 13, 2002 and the handset stopped working on February 5, 2003.
I turned on the handset to make a call and it beeped quickly with the display message reading "no connect".
I contacted VTech customer service...

Do Not Buy
This phone lasted less than six months. Battery stopped recharging. Easily one of the worst products I have ever purchased. I bought it because I has reasonably good luck with other VTech phones, but after purchasing this, I'm going to move on to other brands. Read full review »
WORST PHONE EVER
I HATE IT. THE SOUND QUALITY IS REALLY BAD. I HAVE TO CONSTANTLY ASK PEOPLE TO REPEAT THEMSELVES. THANKS VTECH FOR PUTTING OUT THE WORST PHONE YET. THE OTHER FEATURES ARE IRRELEVANT TO MENTION SINCE THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THE PHONE IS TO TALK AND LISTEN. SINCE I CAN'T HEAR THE OTHER PERSON....THIS... Read full review »
Do not buy unless you get warranty
This phone is probably the worst phone I have ever purchased. For the first month it worked alright but after that it died on me everytime i would use it (after 24 hours of charging). The answering machine was hard to figure out (it took me an hour). The reception also has much static at times,... Read full review »
decent phone with a couple flaws
All-in-all this is a decent phone. The only MAJOR problem is that the battery has a short life. The battery drains pretty quickly, and does so when even when not in use. We have to regularly stop a phone call and switch to a cell phone in order to complete it(and, no, these are not hour-long... Read full review »
