VTech Kidizoom: The BEST My-First-Camera on the Market
My daughter has wanted a camera of her own for a while. I bought her a cheap $20 digital camera at Christmastime and that had a ton of flaws. So when she saw this camera at a friend's house, immediately took a liking to it, and asked me for it, I couldn't just say no. With no direction, my... Read full review »
Say Cheese!
Say Cheese Aunt Lucy I'm taking your picture! Seeing I only come to Florida to visit with my family once a year my 4 year old Great Niece wanted to take a picture with her V-Tech Kidizoom Digital Camera I got the biggest kick out of posing for a picture being taken by our young family... Kidizoom camera kicks butt!
In anticipation of an upcoming road trip just after Christmas this holiday, I--err, I mean Santa Claus-- (somewhat impulsively) picked up a Vtech Kidizoom Plus Digital Camera for my 5 year old son. I figured it would keep him busy during the 8 hour road trip we had ahead of us. One of those... Read full review »
Worry Free and Lots of Fun
My friend actually researched for kid cameras and decided on this one. After seeing other options, I've been very pleased with this purchase.
We purchased it for our 4 yr old for Christmas. He was a disappointed to find out that he wasn't getting a voice changing helmet, but soon forgot...

Pure Fun and No Regrets
Bought this as a Christmas present for our 4 & a half year old son. He was always playing with this little fake plastic camera, pretending to be a reporter. And he'd love being able to see pictures instantly with our real digital camera. We knew this would be a great gift for him.
I...

This one's a winner...
This camera was purchased seven months ago for my daughter's 6th birthday. I had originally purchased a Fisher-Price model but decided to return it and pay a few dollars more for this one, since the FP's reviews were so horrific.
Frankly, I can't believe that someone isn't making a better...

Big Camera Little Hands
I wasn't surprised when my 5 year old daughter asked for a Camera for Christmas but when she told me she wanted one "just like Mommy's" I was a little nervous that it would be broken after the first use. So off I went to look. Not knowing that Vtech, or any other "child friendly" company had come... Read full review »
Nice starter camera for kids
My 4 year old got this for Christmas & spent a good part of the morning taking photos of his presents & our family. The next day he discovered the video capabilities & his action figures became movie stars. He also received a V-smile handheld so he hasn't found the gaming feature yet, but he will... One of the best gifts ever.
My 6 yr old son got this for Christmas and it has been a huge hit. Very easy for him to use, he can work it better than me by now. You can make special effects as in putting the person in the picture behind jail bars, in a dinosaur mouth, their head in a bubble. Can also take short video's and... Read full review »
Great for your little shutterbug
When my daughters second birthday was approaching everyone kept asking me what they could get her and i had no clue what to tell them. I mean what do you get a kid who needs nothing. My friends little boy came over with a digital camera and my daughter was in love with it. So I casually mentioned... Read full review »

Vtech - Kidizoom Digital Camera - Orange
Get Ready to Show off Your Child's Photos It's clear right out of the packaging that this camera was designed to stand up to tough play and rough handling. Bright orange rubber grips on each side make it easy for children to grasp the camera with both hands, and two-eye viewing make it easy to conceptualize a photo or a cool video. The camera even comes with two interchangeable faceplates, so your child can pick her favorite look. Before your child starts taking photos, you'll need to use a Phillips screwdriver to insert four "AA" batteries in the grips of the camera. While the first few photos are being taken, you may want to set up the VTech Photo Editor on your computer. An intuitive installation wizard makes this process quick and easy. You'll need Windows 2000 SP3+/XP or newer to use this software. And don't despair if you're a Mac user. As long as you have Mac OS X 10.0 or above, you can still use the camera in mass storage mode.
