Great phone, lots of options, clear, for little money

Pros Two handsets for in most instances the price of one. Unbelievable options. Cheap.
Cons Small handset, hard to hold between shoulder and neck, but handset has speaker-phone
Recommended it? Yes

I purchased this phone after much research. So far, it is wonderful. The quality and options far outweigh the inexpensive cost of the phone. There are so many other phones out there that cost just as much or more without all the options this one offers. Using the speaker-phone on the handset is... Read full review »

My husband chose this phone set to replace our two old cordless phones that were both giving us problems. One would disrupt the wireless network service when we used it, causing everyone online at the time to get kicked off. The other had poor range and battery life. It was time for an upgrade. He... Cons You need to have caller ID to make distinctive ring operate.

I recently purchased this model phone from a recommended Shopping.com site. It is without doubt the best value on the market. The rating system made it easy to select. I received it within three days and it was up and working the next day. It has all the features you would ever want in a home phone... Read full review »

Recommended it? No

I like everything about this phone except for one thing: the connection seems to break up during calls, almost like a cell phone.

Cons small voice storage/time.
Recommended it? Yes

I actually have this model with 3 handsets. It's quite simply the best cordless phone I have owned, and I've had plenty.

** Only the base needs to be connected to the telephone jack, the other phones use signal to communicate to the base - some people really don't comprehend that.

Pros Features, Clarity and durability. What more are you looking for in a cordless phone?
Cons Size and the flash feature. Neither is really that bad, just read the review!
Recommended it? Yes

My first cordless phone was a Panasonic with speaker phone. I was always impressed with the clarity and performance. I followed that with another Panasonic cordless phone with a tape answering machine, which also worked great. When caller ID phones got really popular I picked up a GE cordless... Read full review »

I bought the DCT 6485-3 (which is basically a DCT 6485 unit with 2 extra chargers and 3 phones) at Sam's Club about a week ago for $109 and am quite satisfied so far. The phones feel solid and have clear sound with decent depth. The phone system also doubles as a two-way radio and baby monitor. You... Read full review »
