Everything looks a little SLANTED
First of all, I use this product at work. They give us all nice new cheap scanners when we start and I've had this one for about 8 months.
It's a pretty basic scanner, no gadgets, no buttons, no lights, no whistles. Just plain. Well, whatever, that's ok, thats just extra stuff to break...

At that time we were using our old computer, one with no Pentium and 33 Mhz "slug speed". Still, I was able to scan... Read full review »
very fast and excellent scans
The UMAX 1220S is an excellent scanner. I puchased mine about 2 yrs ago. It is a SCSI interface, which makes it very fast. I was not happy with the SCSI adapter card it came with so I purchased an aftermarket Adaptec 2940UW PRO SCSI card. It comes with a 25 pin SCSI interface connector so I had to... Read full review »
