"Sometimes ideas, like men, jump up and say 'hello.'" - Twin Peaks
"I have no idea where this will lead us, but I have a definite feeling it will be a place both wonderful and strange." - Dale Cooper
Inexplicably, the TV series Twin Peaks debuted in April 1990 and became an instant cultural phenomenon. This is shocking for a number of reasons: one,...

Your Complete Ticket to the Eerie World of Twin Peaks
Anyone who's ever seen a movie that involved David Lynch should immediately realize that the format least suited for the director's aesthetic is primetime network television. Lynch's surreal films such as Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive deal with characters and settings that represent the dark... Read full review »

Twin peaks - The all time TV masterpiece
I'm 25 now and watched Twin Peaks when it originally aired. I'll admit that I was terrified as a child, especially of the scene with the horse appearing... *shivers*
But now I'm grown up and can appreciate it for more than just being scared.
I have the entire series on VHS,...

This set is missing scenes
Ye, it has the pilot, yes, the episodes look great. But it is missing scenes! Why? Just to irritate us? I don't know. It is missing the scene in One eyed Jacks with Audrey and Ben Horne and it is missing the ENTIRE giant/decrepit room service waiter scene from the first episode of season two... Read full review »

Not long after I finished the second season, I found out that this definitive full series DVD set was coming out and I was SUPER... Read full review »
A Soap Opera with Demons
I recall going to the theater years ago to see Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me (which is the prequel to Twin Peaks, or what happened before the events of the TV series) because I'd recently seen a double feature of Blue Velvet and Wild at Heart and I really liked David Lynch.
The film...

Twin Peaks - The Definitive Gold Box Edition Collector's Edition; Multiple Disc Set DVD
Though it only lasted for two seasons David Lynch's shockingly original TV drama TWIN PEAKS forever changed the face of primetime television. A bizarre ingenious hilarious and terrifying murder-mystery set in the Pacific Northwest logging town of Twin Peaks the series opened with the discovery of the body of Laura Palmer Sheryl Lee a seemingly straitlaced high school student. Assigned to the case is FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper Kyle MacLachlan a quirky man who converses regularly with Diane his portable tape recorder. As Cooper settles into his life in Twin Peaks he meets a revolving cast of characters who are all off-kilter in their own personal way. Gradually the town's facade of extreme normality begins to crack mightily revealing an endless barrage of schemes fronts and hidden relationships that expose Twin Peaks as the disturbed unsettling town that it is. Long awaited by TWIN PEAKS fans this special collection presents the complete series along with the show's shocking pilot which due to legal entanglements eluded previous sets.
