Good not the BEST but well above the rest
Toshiba notebooks are the steadiest in the arena of laptops. The casing is touch and durable, if you drop it won't affect the screen at all. Decent lap top for the price
I bought this lap top in July of 2007. It didnt come with any software. I had to buy office for $150. It has a few small problems, but over all I would probably recommend it to someone on a budget. We bought this laptop for my kids freshman year. To date it has been an excellent purchase. He is pleased with the speed and he can use it ANYWHERE he has the time or the inclination to do his homework and projects(ie: bus, library, couch...)
