Best PDA for the value

Pros Great display, very thin and light. Customized launcher software.
Cons Limited expandability
Recommended it? Yes

Toshiba has done it right when it came down to designing this PDA. Not only does the e310 pack the processing power of a PocketPC device, it also competes very well in form factor against the smallest of all Palms.

The e310 has 32MB RAM and 32MB of flashable ROM, as standard with... Read full review »

Pros Compact and lightweight (really pocket); battery life
Cons lack of connectivity
Recommended it? No

WHAT IS GOOD:
*Size/weight 5+: +It is literally POCKET device. It does not pull off your shirt pocket and is not bulky in pants' pocket (my wallet or pack of cigarettes is bulkier).

*Appearance 5:
+It has sturdy & sleek metal case(hope it will never break as my previous Compaq... Read full review »

It came with basic PIM software. It is easy to sync with my work and Home PC. It is easy to enter data into the PDA using cursive writing or Grafiti. It is easy to carry the PDA in my shirt pocket. Good Customer support. I accidentally spilled water on the PDA at my work. I reported this problem to... Read full review »

Good product, suits my needs rather well

Pros Display, Decent speed, Good Value.
Cons Lack of Compact Flash, Insufficient internal memory, Buttons slow to respond.
Recommended it? Yes

This pocket PC is, in my opinion, quite possibly the best for the money. I may be less critical of it than others because I only paid a little over $100 for it on E-Bay, and I do not have any wireless needs. I typically use it to compose Word documents, keep schedules, and, of course, play games... Read full review »

Kicks Butt, Beats iPAQ any day!!!

Pros Super lightweight, thin; fits in my purse perfectly.
Cons It would be the memory if I didn't have an SD card for it!
Recommended it? Yes

I got a 2 yr old off Ebay, and it is awesome! Exactly what I needed. The equivalent of an iPAQ 3765 but so much cheaper!!! I am extremely happy. I switched to this from a Palm m100 -- there is no comparison! Plus I have always loved Toshiba. I wanted something better than the yucky Palm. Plus I... Read full review »

TERRIFIC PRODUCT

bykgrace7 Dec 13, 2003

Pros quality & quantity of features for the price, compact size, long battery life, reliable,...
Cons not a single complaint about this product after using it for nearly two years!
Recommended it? Yes

I bought this product approximately 1 1/2 year ago for about $300 with a $50 rebate afterwards. I was reluctant to give up my antiquated paper planners and I used both for about 2 weeks before I realized that this purchase was one of the most efficient changes I could make. I'll never have a paper... Read full review »

Equipped with a 206 MHz Intel StrongARM processor, the Toshiba e310 features a 32 MB SDRAM memory and 32 MB of flash ROM (for future upgrading). It's powered by a built-in lithium rechargeable battery, which recharges via the included USB cradle. Operating System Microsoft's Pocket PC 2002 operating system, released in late 2001, offers many enhancements over the previous OS. You'll get improved handwriting recognition, more reliable synchronization, increased security, and the ability to chat using MSN Messenger. It supports over 64,000 colors and has a 240 x 320 resolution. Active matrix, also called "thin film transistor" (TFT), is the brightest, sharpest, clearest, and most expensive type of LCD flat-panel display that is practical for handhelds. Expansion With its integrated Secure Digital (SD) expansion slot, you can easily store and play your multimedia files and carry your important documents wherever you go. You'll also be able to add functionality with optional SD modules, such as the optional Toshiba Pocket PC Bluetooth wireless SD card. Multimedia Play digital audio (both MP3 and WMA) and video (MPEG-4) files using the Windows Media Player software. The Toshiba e310 is also compatible with audible.com files, for listening to audiobooks, radio broadcasts, and more. Record your thoughts with the built-in microphone and voice-recording software. You can play back using the small speaker on the front or via the stereo headphone jack. You also get the Microsoft Reader e-book software. In the Box The Toshiba e310 comes with a USB cradle, AC adapter, stylus, soft slipcase, quick-start card, and warranty card. It is backed by a one-year limited warranty.
