Not bad for the price, but don't expect it to last
I bought this waffle maker knowing about the two not-so-great reviews of fellow Epinioners, because the shelf model seemed sturdy to me, and Target had it on sale for $7.50.

Cheap and toxic
I'm normally not a fan of non-stick coatings. In my experience, they often fail to live up to their non-stick promises, plus you have to be very careful with them to avoid scratching them or over heating and emitting toxic gasses. You get what you pay for
My boys got this waffle maker for a Christmas present last year. It worked just fine, but abruptly stopped working right in the middle of a batch this morning. Perhaps the low price means that this model should be considered a disposable one. I'll try another brand next time. Read full review »
Good waffles but short-lived and dangerous death
