NICE WORK TOASTESS
THE MOST PATHETIC POPPER EVER MANUFACTURED. ITS HARD TO BELIEVE THAT TOASTESS COULD ACTUALLY SIT AROUND A TABLE TRY THIS POPPER AND THINK YES THIS IS IT PERFECT. This Popcorn Maker is Awful
My previous Toastess popcorn maker stopped working after almost 10 years, so I bought this one as a replacement a month or two ago. I am already looking for a replacement for this as the operation is very frustrating and not worth the hassle.

Not Recommended
Mine only lasted a year, and I'm gentle with my appliances and only make popcorn twice a week. I have read on line that a heat sensor intended to shut the unit off before it overheats breaks shutting the unit off before the kernals even get warm. There is a fix but it involves opening the... Disappointing
My good, ol' faithful popcorn maker recently kicked the bucket. I think I bought it in the late 90's and it too was a Toastess model. It worked really well; I primarily used some "super-puff" popcorn, and it popped very well with very little waste (i.e., unpopped kernals).
