Priced too High for What You Get
Considering that I just bought a new DVD player for $7 more, this answering machine is a little disappointing. I paid around $20 for it at Walmart.
For the price, I expected a little more.

Barely, minimally useful
Most of the usual functions are in there. Volume, Next [message], Previous [message], digital readout of number-of-messages, time stamp, records digitally using electronic memory instead of magnetic tape.

A piece of CR*P
It took me 2 hours to figure out how to set it up. If there hadn't been a photo of the setup in the manual, I would never have figured it out from the written instructions. don't buy this one
Purchased this less than a year ago and the voice quality progressively got worse. I now cannot even understand the messages it is so muffled & distorted. I am now shopping for a new one. Don't waste your money on it. Read full review »
JAMMED-NO RESPONSE WHEN BUTTONS PUSHED
It worked OK for a few months, then the day stamp would get messed up and state wrong day and hour after every 24 hrs of re-setting it.
Now, the #8 is displayed in message window and pushing play or erase or any other button will not respond. It's as if it is unplugged but it is still lit up...
