The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
I've played and finished nearly all the Zelda games both in handheld and console, but I never got to the Wind Waker for the specific reason that it seemed too "kiddy" when it came out. Hell, it still does but I don't really care much anymore as long as the game is playable. It's the same thing that... Read full review »
Best Game, Even Now
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker for GameCube is one of the best games I have ever played in all my gaming career. Even though it is a few years old now, I still play it with as enthusiasm as I did when I first bought the game.
The graphics are bright and childish, yet the story,...

A New Kind of Zelda
The Legend of Zelda: the Windwaker for Gamecube is a new type of Zelda. This is one of my personal favorite because of the animation and graphics. While some may argue that the cartoon graphics in this game were a very bad idea, I, for one, thought it was cool, refreshing and at times, even a bit... Read full review »
Toon Link's Adventure Begins!
Toon-Link's Adventure began back in 2003 on the Nintendo Gamecube completely owning the underrated title "The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker". I'm sure this Game would have gotten a load more of fans if Nintendo didn't go with Link's New Cartoony Childish look. That really turned people off... Read full review »

Oh yeah Zelda
I can't really explain it when I'm playing this game. It just takes the worry of the world away. Maybe it's because I'm a stay at home mom, but it's really cool and fun. The different bosses you fight makes the game just that much more interesting. I love all Zelda... Read full review »
Wake the winds and reveal your destiny
Legend of Zelda: The Windwaker stirred much controversy by its graphic style change to cel-shading making the game look like a cartoon. It proved that EAD knew what they're doing, as this style allowed for a more expressive Link. Today the game is herald for its impressive visualsand beautiful... Read full review »
Wind waker
A transition from the other zelda games, the graphic overall was hard to deal with at first, but once you start playing, you see how beautiful the game really is. Read full review »

This Legend of Zelda is different than the other s because windwaker is like a cartoon. Your main transportation is not epona but a boat. Read full review »
The Winds of Change
Look beyond the cel-shaded, cartoon-like graphics and you will find a brilliant and vibrant game that makes the Zelda series proud. With a vibrant atmosphere and intuitive gameplay, Wind Waker is a memorable game that is more than worth an inspection.
Hundreds of years from the Nintendo...

An adventure for everyone
The Wind Waker stirred up a lot of controversy at it's inception. The game suddenly had a more "kiddie" feel to it then it's ever have, and Link's world was piratically underwater. Sometimes making so many drastic changes can be suicide for a franchise (just look at what they did with Final Fight... Read full review »
This game was better than i thought
To start off when i first heard about this game I didn't really think it would be much to play I dont care for cel shaded graphics in the first place just not my style and all ok well anyway lets get on about telling a little about the game and all ok start off on your home island the first person... The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. More advanced or not?
I've always been a fan of The Legend of Zelda games. My first encounter with the game was with The Ocarina of Time, it was an awesome game with many new features that had never been seen before. There were many dungeons and difficult bosses. The game took a long time to get through; there were a... Read full review »
Great game
This is my favorite legend of zelda game of all time. It far outranks any of the others including twilight princess. The graphics are beautiful and the gameplay is smooth and fluent. Any complaints about the graphics or that there is too much of the game spent in the boat is completely ridiculous. Read full review »
Not perfect, but a grand adventure worth playing
I remember back in '02 and '03 when there was footage and shots of a realistic-looking Link and Ganondorf having a 1-on-1 sword battle to the death. Then, when everyone was looking forward to it, Nintendo takes it back and redesigns the graphics using cel shading. This gave the demo videos and... Read full review »
This is the reason to buy a Gamecube
Ever since the eighties when the Nintendo unleashed the very first Zelda game many more games have followed. Usually you get about two per system and the first for the game cube was the wind waker. Link is a gaming icon like Mario but not as popular, he is the main hero in the Zelda series and has... Read full review »
One of my Favorite Gamecube Games
This game is great. The beginning of the game is kind of corny because you have to go around on this island and get a sword and talk to everyone. But before long you start combat. The gameplay is great and the graphics are good (better than my PS1's!!). The only thing that I don't like is that this... Read full review »

"Come Sail Away" with Link...
In early 2003, around two years after Majora's Mask was released, Zelda hits the scene once again. However, this time, Link, his friends, and the town of Hyrule have all apparently had a makeover. The whole game is now cel-shaded, giving the characters and towns an interesting visual appeal. This... Read full review »
