Cons buggy and long load times

Morrowind: The Elder Scrolls III for Xbox is a fantasy roll playing game. I think it is the best roll playing game I have ever encountered. I also think it happened to be the first roll playing game for the Xbox and it is a very tough act to follow. I have all kinds of things to tell you about it... Read full review »

Got an extra five hundred hours?

Because I am a huge fan of role playing games, when I heard that Morrowind might be the biggest RPG world ever created I bought the game instantly. Some might not be able to understand why anybody would want to play a game that takes hundreds of hours and... Read full review »

For console owners who don't dabble into PC gaming, the Elder Scrolls series is one that's not that known. With fantastic entries such as Daggerfall, Bethesda Softworks' baby has been a huge PC franchise for years, but due to the limitations of game consoles (read: lacking proper equipment to... Originally slated to be a launch title for Microsoft's Xbox system, Bethesda Softworks' Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind saw numerous delays before finally hitting retail shelves last year. The game, a sequel to the PC games Arena and Daggerfall, is an open-ended title that allows the player to... Read full review »

...and what a good thing that is.

Normally, when I have been waiting for a title to come out for a long period of time, it tends to dissapoint me. I've been waiting for Morrowind since, well, I think January 2001. Long time, long time, so I was a bit scared. So, being my PC is easily one... Read full review »

I've been waiting for this game for a month now. The PC version didn't run well on my computer at all and so my hope lied in this Xbox version. I heard many complaints (come to find out from lying fanboys) that the xbox version suffered from long load times, weak graphics and glitches. None of... Read full review »

Pros Open Ended RPG goodness..
Cons Not For Those Who Aren't Dedicated To Their RPGs..

Introduction

Though role-playing games have always been very thorough and detailed, none have really matched the intensity and open ended feel of pen and paper RPG games, which really have no linear aspects at all, which makes for a fun and unpredictable game. Many games have come close... Read full review »

General/Summary:
Before Morrowind was released, one of the very few faults of the X-Box was its lack of decent RPGs. This factor was what many ps2 and GC owners used to comfort themselves when determining if their decision to by their console over the X-Box was the right choice. But now that... Read full review »

Want to run around in the most living/breathing world contained in a video game? If you do than Morrowind is a must buy. The GTA series doesn't come close to giving the amount of freedom that the Elder Scroll's series does. There is almost nothing you can't do. The game is huge, too huge.
