Great design but poor performance

temp setting failed after 7 mo
This is my 3rd unit in 10 years. With 3 kids in the house it is used at least 2 to 3 times a week.I paid $169.00 Canadian ($145.00 US) for mine about 7 months ago. Problems with Battered Foods
This fryer works well and is easy to clean, as all parts, except for the heating elements, can be placed in the dishwasher. The filtration and storage systems for the cooking oil work superbly well thus there are no oil spillage problems to contend with.

Leaking
The first time we started up our deep fryer, it started leaking oil all over the place and we had to put it into a roaster pan and it is still leaking hot oil. A great fire hazard in my opinion. Read full review »
Nice fryer, would buy again

HAZARDOUS PRODUCT
This unit was used maybe a dozen times only. No problems with the first uses but it soon turned into a nightmare when filtering oil. The oil transfer mechanism is inappropriate and leaks.
