Pros very solid machine, a real workhorse. Seems to be a good value for the price.
Cons LEAKS: it handles less than the 10 cup capacity it states.
Recommended it? Yes

I chose this model because it was in the price range I was willing to spend, and of those models in my range it was the most solidly built sturdy unit on display. I also like the Oster brand.

This is not a bad unit, but I would recommend reading the other reviews. I haven't had a bowl... Read full review »

Pros Strong, quiet, visually appealing.
Cons Poorly designed, easily breakable, bowl and cover.
Recommended it? No

I use mine quite a bit, and one of the things I do often is grate cheddar cheese. The last couple brands I owned had a difficult time with this task, but the Oster has a powerful, fairly quiet motor and has no problems.
But...
I am on my fourth replacement bowl and third cover. The bowl... Read full review »

Pros At the moment, none...
Cons Cheap. Cheap. Cheap...and the replacement parts are expensive...
Recommended it? No

This expensive food processor is a piece of junk... within a month the bowl cracked. And today, the plastic unit on the disc blade blew apart while grating mozzarella cheeze. now, granted the cheese was still a little frozen...but come on! Besides, it never did a great job on un-frozen mozza in the... Read full review »

Pros Nice, sleek styling, solid, powerful.
Cons The real test of customer service is what you do when things go wrong.
Recommended it? No

We recently purchased an Oster 3200 food processor. Initially we loved it -- until we went to used the blade for shredding. They had failed to pack the blade extender in the box so the slicer/grater couldn't be used. I contacted Oster, gave them all the information on the model they needed to send... Read full review »

Junk

Pros great motor
Cons You have to keep emptying out the bowl. Too much trouble.
Recommended it? No

They claim this is a 10 cup bowl. Well, if you use the shredder and shred more than 2 cups, when you remove the bowl from the motor, everything falls out the center hole. They failed to design the center hole high enough to hold any amount of food. When I contacted the company to see if there was... Read full review »

Great, but prepare to replace bowl often

Pros does everything very well, attractive, powerful, quiet.
Cons bowl is terrible. too many cheap parts that cannot take repeated use before breaking.
Recommended it? No

Hefty, powerful, quiet, large capacity. Works well at all tasks.

The bowl lock mechanism is over engineered and breaks, which will not allow you to use the blender unless you rig it. The replacement is about 20.00. Very frustrating. Read full review »

We bought this new at our local Lowes. Upon getting it home, we plugged it up, to make sure it worked. Pressed the On button, then off, pressed the pulse button, then pressed On and the machine quit. It just popped and stopped. No amount of pressing on the buttons would revive it... Read full review »
