Great Watch but Defective LCD

Update 3/28/2011: Note I reviewed the Suunto Vector watch back in 2000, which I'm guessing was replaced by the CORE model. My comments do not apply to the CORE watch, only the Vector. Smart Fins
This is a clever item. My first impressions was, it's big, it's very light, it's remarkably comfortable. The manual is very good and it needs to be. There is a lot of function in this wrist computer. It takes some study to learn to use it and I find myself going back to the manual often.
