I liked this grinder because it let me do other things while it was grinding the coffee, however it is *very* loud and died after about a year of use. Read full review »

Pros Stainless Steel , Good Grind, select amount of coffee
Cons Noisy
Recommended it? Yes

I read the first review after I had ordered one. I was tempted to call and cancel the order. Glad I didn't . This is a great little machine . It doesn't matter if you are grinding coffee for 4 cups or 10 ,settings are 2 to 18 at 2 cup intervals, It gives the right amount each time and only the... Read full review »

Pros Big bean chamber
A timer will make it burr a preset quantity
Price range
Cons Not so good for espresso, but not supposed to in that price range
Plastic ground...
Recommended it? Yes

You have two types of grinders: burr and blade.

First of all, like so many others wrote before: a blade grinder is a waste of money. It heats the coffee, no consistency at all, takes forever to grind etc. It's very affordable, so it's tempting, but you'll end up with regrets.

Then you... Read full review »

Reliability problems with it

Pros Seems to grind coffee ok, can't tell any difference between this and a blade grinder.
Cons I'm fed up with Cuisinart - their stuff just does not seem reliable.
Recommended it? No

I bought this because the coffee grinder in my Cuisinart Grind and Brew coffee maker was sticking so badly, I could not get it out to clean it.

My overriding complaint is that it quit working after about 7 months. Quit working means that when I press the button to grind beans, nothing... Read full review »

moving up to a better grinder

Pros evenly grounded delicious coffee
Cons very noisy, hard to clean, and have started by accident, often
Recommended it? Yes

It was time to replace out old blade style coffee grinder, (think tiny tiny blender). I have gone through 4 different GE models in 4 years, if they broke in less than a year (twice), got a new exchange from Wal-mart. If not, then another 20$. I had heard that the burr grinder type was better, (my... Read full review »

GREAT GRINDER

Pros Great Price; Perfect fine grind for espresso; Small size for storing
Cons Absolutely none
Recommended it? Yes

Bought mine for $29.99 at Sams Club and have loved it every day. I bought it as a second unit in case I wanted to quickly change coffee types. I use fine setting for espresso and it grinds the exact amount I need for my portafilter. I don't have any more issues with 'static cling' than with one... Read full review »

Any Other Burr Grinder Is Better

Pros Okay While It Works
Cons Will Not Work For Long - Customer Service What Customer Service
Recommended it? No

Cuisinart missed the boat on this Junker. I'm on my fourth or fifth grinder in a year. It's under warranty, but what a pain. For an inexpensive burr grinder I thought I had found a bargain. It works okay, is better than a blade grinder, but then after a couple weeks or months, the motor will slow... Read full review »

Cheap Burr Grinder that looked real nice. It is cheap!

Pros Cute looks. I've had it a week and it still grinds!
Cons Horribly noisy. Poor design. Sounds like it may soon self destruct.
Recommended it? No

I hated buying ground coffee that goes flat at home long before I have used it up. I saw this grinder at Sam's Club. I bought it. It does grind after a fashion but to call it a burr mill is stretching it. The mill produces a fine powder along with other size particles when adjusted to medium grind... Read full review »

Pros even grind every time, collection bucket, one button operation
Cons little noisy (all grinders are noisy)

I'm not sure what these othere reviewers are doing to their grinders, but mine has been working hard every day grinding espresso beans wihtout a hitch. It makes a great, fairly even grind. Have had this for 6 months now, and really can't complain. I'm glad to get rid of my cheap blade grinder. I... Read full review »

I guess automatic means "hit it" in some language

Pros Looks good
Cons Constantly jams
Recommended it? No

I have had mine about a year. It has not broken as many others have but I can't figure out why it hasn't broken. I have to stand next to it while it is running or it goes into a high pitched whine with no coffee coming out because something or other has jammed. I then have to smack it or jiggle it...
