Love it! Great for NYC apartments!
Small size, well manufactured, good quality, no moving parts.
bedding is expensive and shrinks in the wash!
The Bottom Line:
Crib is very safe and sturdy and can be used many ways. It is easy to transport between rooms without having to take it apart. Good quality.
We have 3 children who have used this crib and it is fantastic. I love that we can move it between rooms (our apartment doorways are standard size for a luxury building), which is great because we don't need a pack n play in the living area, we just move our crib out there if we need to. We only have 2 bedrooms, so its nice to be flexible with the sleeping arrangements, when one of our children is sick or we have guests. The crib is tough to put together, but very solid once it is up. It is made of solid beechwood, which is a hardwood and better for children's furniture than some softer woods like pine. I don't like the bedding options, but it is my only complaint, really. Beware of the stokke sheets, because they shrink!! I really like the size of the crib. It fits nicely in small spaces, like corners, which is nice in a small apartment. While we weren't using the crib as a bed, we took the side off and it became a reading nook for our older children. They loved it and when we told them it was "reading time" they would race to the bed and "read" in it (they are age 1 and 3). Now my newborn is using it, so no more reading nook. Honestly though, I think I will always use this bed. It converts to 2 chairs as well. It is such good quality that I might be able to pass it down to my grandchildren.
