Startrek Armada: Cry Havok and Let Slip the Dogs of War!
This game was purchased for me by a friend as a birthday present. Since then we both have enjoyed playing it. The game itself is excellent being the first 3D strategy game featuring the Startrek Universe.
This game features the Federation, the Borg, The Klingons, and the Romulans with...

Best Star Trek Game Ever!
What was the Star Trek universe lacking? A good computer game. I don't mean to be insensitive, but before the release of Star Trek: Armada, I have been somewhat dissapointed in Star Trek computer games. However, now, Activision has changed it all with the release of Star Trek: Armada.
First...

Multiplayer Hell
I really haven?t played any other Star Trek games personally. A few weeks ago a friend of mine purchased it so we can play multiplayer. There are about 8 of us that play altogether. Previously we were playing "Total Annialation" which is real similar. First of all, Armada is an extremely picky game... Read full review »
Compatibility issues
This is another in the Star Trek games. It appeals to long time trekkie. If you aren't a trekkie, go elsewhere. This game is very fun for those who like Star Trek.
Getting this game to run is a big hassle. It only works in certain modes with certain video cards (e.g. only runs in 640x480...

A Trek game worth buying!
Being a Trek fan for ages, I've found that a large portion of the recent Trek titles put out (Starfleet Academy, Birth of the Federation) were, for lack of a better term, sucky. Hang onto your set of Vulcan ears, kiddies, because Armada is a keeper!
Gameplay is smooth (on my system at...

Missing William Shatner Killed his Wife! Shame on you, James T. Kirk!
Humanity's quest to explore and exploit new worlds and new civilizations, and Kirk's personal quest to have sex with all imaginable alien females (some with green skin color), has long dissipated from the Star Trek scene. In today's politically correct and socially acceptable TV world, both... Read full review »
The best of the Trek games
I must admit, this is one of the best Star Trek games I ever played. I love the story line, and the graphics and sounds are great. Activision has got a good title on their hands.
Reasons to Buy:
1. If you love Star Trek TNG and Deep Space Nine, you will love this game
2. One of the...

An Unexpected Addiction
I've got some minor gripes with this game.
Initially, I was dissatisfied with the quality of the cut scenes. While the opening movie is chock-full of tantalizing violence and exploding ships, it's grainy. Also, cut scenes are rendered in 16-bit color, with only the characters' lips moving...

Resistance was Futile (I broke and bought the game)
This is the second game I purchased that contained the words "Star Trek" within the game title. My first was Star Trek: Starfleet Command and I was quite impressed by it. I didn't buy any others before that because I've seen the quality of the games and I wasn't impressed by them. Well, this is my... Read full review »
Its Starcraft....um..Trek!
Oh boy did I need a new game! Oh c'mon, you know the feeling...the shakes, the long slow "I'll just be 5 minutes hon!" trips to the game store that take 3 hours. The need gets filled, finally, but usually, with garbage. Especially if you make the mistake of getting a Star Trek game - because lets... Read full review »
