Ever get a ticket for going too fast in a bus?
OK, I know this is an older movie. But it's one of my favorites and I just watched it again the other night for the first time in quite awhile. I had forgotten some key parts of it, so it was fun to watch it again.
Keanu Reeves, Sandra Bullock and Dennis Hopper are the main actors in this...

Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock Race Against Time in Speed
I do enjoy action movies when they are entertaining even when the plots aren't that strong. Speed is one of those movies that I ended up really enjoyed even though it did have some problems.
An unidentified man was holding a group of people hostage in an elevator that he had rigged with...

WHY SPEED?
This movie hit the theaters back in '93 almost like a runaway locomotive, freight train or like a 777 jumbo jetliner barreling down the runway for take-off!! It took off to new heights and had attracted all who were looking for hot fast-paced nonstop action. There has never been...

Speed (Widescreen Edition) [VHS]
Everything clicked in this 1994 action hit, from the premise (a city bus has to keep moving at 50 mph or blow up) to the two leads (the usually inscrutable Keanu Reeves and the cute-as-a-button Sandra Bullock) to the villain (Dennis Hopper in psycho mode) to the director (Jan De Bont, who made this film hit the ground running with an edge-of-your-seat opening sequence on a broken elevator). This is the sort of movie that becomes a prototype for a thousand lesser films (including De Bont's lousy sequel, Speed 2: Cruise Control), but Speed really is a one-of-a-kind experience almost anyone can enjoy. --Tom Keogh
