One of the most unique and emotional games ever made.
Knowing the dangers, how far would you go to save the one you love? This is the question raised in Shadow of the Colossus: a video game that critics and enthusiasts claim to be a work of art. In terms are visual arts, video games are almost akin to some of the best canvas paintings out there... Read full review »
Shadow of the Colossus
Shadow of the Colossus is a pretty intense, deep and interesting game. It's surface simplicity hides the same thing about it that made Ico great, another game by the same developers. The real focus is on the experience and open ended story, and it does that really well, while intrinsically still... Read full review »
Great looks and ideas but a bit repetitive
Good title, this is a real classic but a bit repetitive. If you want to play something different and epical, go for it.

DUDE!!
This game is about you hunting down and taking down these huge creatures. The journey itself is a fantastic one. Read full review »
awesome!
Short game if you learn the methods and finish off the monsters quickly, simple concept, but very intriguing. I like the whole fantasy world approach about the little guy with a sword, on a horseback, trying to slay monsters a 100 times his size.
FUN!

Shadow Of The Colossus...aka...an interactive art piece
This past Christmas I picked up several games from the "bargain bins" of several stores. One of the games I happened to pick up was Shadow of the Colossus from Amazon.com for only $9.99 which I thought was a great price. I have a lot of mixed feelings about the game. The game is like no other... Read full review »
The Bigger They Are, The Harder They Fall, especially if they land on you.
Shadow of the Colossus
Reducing a name such as "Shadow of the Colossus" to the title of "video game", in and of itself, is a bit of an insult. Not only that, if I happen to hear of any reports of Shadow being called "just a video game," I'm going to make sure, someway, somehow that the next...

In the Shadows of Hyped Titles Comes this Gem
You may not realize it, but the story of Shadow of the Colossus attacks you philosophically. Flashback had more of a backstory. In Flashback, we knew the main character's name was Conrad Hart, and we were treated to an opening cinematic of him running from his pursuers only for them to shoot him... Read full review »
Of Jaw Dropping quality O_O
To tell you the truth, when I bought Shadow Of The Colossus, I wasn't entirely sure of what I was getting into. Sure, I read a review at IGN, but I guess I never really paid too much attention to the parts where the reviewer describes the games premise. Something about giants and a barren... Read full review »
Artsy fartsy but is it fun?
I had pretty high expectations as I rented this game, since I heard so many good things about it. There's plenty of good and bad, now that I've played it, so here goes...
The Skinny
In Shadow of the Colossus, you travel on your horse with a legendary ancient sword through a barren...

Might As Well JUMP
Okay, it's probably not all that auspicious to start an Epinion with a Van Halen quote. Heck, it's probably downright gauche.
But the only other semi-pithy thing I could think of was some lame crack about "jumping for joy," so I decided to just go with David Lee Roth's little tirade.

Great game; icky camera.
Genre: Action, adventure, puzzle.
The main focus of this game is to fight 16 huge colossi and traveling across long beautiful stretches of land on your horse, Agro, to get there. The colossi are basically a big puzzle. You try to find your way to climb these massive creatures, searching...

A game can fill a grown man's eyes with tears
Hideo Kojima said that video games are not art. Now I don't know what that man was on at the time, but if there is one thing I know from playing this game, is that games can be more art then a painting or a book. I felt that playing this game was like eating cake. No matter how much cake you eat,... Read full review »
Shadow of The Colossus
Shadow of The Colossus for the Playstation 2 isn't a very hard game to describe. It's essentially just 16 boss battles. However, what makes this game more complex is its atmosphere. A sense of loneliness and being small in a big world and facing big creatures all to bring back your love.

Bigger IS Better
Alright, I gonna make this short and sweet, just like the game. This is unlike any other game... Amazing graphics, it's like playing a painting. Very exciting bosses and very exciting way of killing them.
The controls seem awkward at first, but then you get used to them and realize that...
