Just confirming pgnicolas review, based on personal experience and what I have seen on the web. Mine came with my Dell Inspiron 6000 notebook. noisy, slow, poor workmanship
I have had it with my DW-D56A. It is a 'plug-in' in my VAIO VGN-FS215S. It broke down after 3 months with no reason other than it rattled itself to shreds.
I have since then reseached the product on a dozen review sites only to find the same verdict throughout....poor workmanship. One more...
