If you want a digital camera that is easy to use! Quality Digital For You
This camera a quality with ease. Professional yet fun. I have owned other digital cameras but no has been able to compare to the Sony Digital Mavica MVC-FD90.
Professional
I use this camera nearly everyday. When I work it is easy to throw the camera into a bag and go to where I...

Sony MVC-FD90
I very much enjoy taking the pics and deleting the ones that are terrible. most of the functions are easy to learn but there are some that I just dont understand. The 15 sec movie thing is just about worthless.
I have never bought the memory stick because of the price and i dont think the...

FD-90---Expensive, Yup----High Quality, Nope
I got this camera when it first came out in March of 2000(I awalys am the first on the block to have somthing new :-) ) It was purchased at Circuit City. Yea, Like Everything new it was great for the first month or so that I had it. Then the Problems started happening, which I will explain to you... Read full review »
If You Have Kids. . .
You'll love this if you have kids, and your kids will love being able to see their pictures instantly!
There are so many things about this camera that I just love, so I think I'll start with the few things I think could be improved. There is definitely a lag time when taking pictures. You...

I wish I had bought it first
instead of wasting money on cheaper cameras. Okay, I'm a tightwad, I thought I could find something that worked well for less money. After 2 el cheapo cameras, both of which were huge disappointments, I shelled out for the Sony. I love it. I'm an amateur at this and I could use it right out of the... Read full review »
Good Camera.
I got this camera as a present. Personally I probably wouldn't buy a digital camera myself. Reason being is that I have taken photography courses for over 3 years and even had my own darkroom in my house. My point is that with a manual 35mm camera your options are endless. You can set the aperture,... Read full review »
Great Camera
I purchased the Sony Mavica FD-90 camera to replace my old model FD-7. I thought the FD-7 was good but after using the FD-90, there is no comparison. The camera can be used for so many different things, and the picture quality is just fantastic. The use of the high density (floppy) disc makes... Read full review »
Buy a lot of floppies, you'll need them
I really like the MVC-FD90's ability to save pictures to floppy disk. We often go for days between times that pictures get uploaded to the net for storage and printing, and I can't even imagine needing to go back to a computer regularly to save files off to a hard disk.
On the minus side,...

Convenient - but not for everybody
The beauty of this camera is storing the images on floppy disks (memory sticks optional). This allows anybody at any computer with a floppy drive the ability to instantly access the photos without having to preload software.
However, there is a limit to how many images you can store on...

Why did I wait so long??
I received the Sony Mavica FD-90 for Christmas this year and I can't believe I waited so long. I love this camera! Having two small children and being an avid scrapbooker, I was forever taking pictures. Film and photo devoloping being one of the biggest things in our family budget. My husband... Digital good, FD90 almost bad
I actually went to purchase a Sony digital in the $500 range, but opted for the more advanced FD90. I chose Sony over the others since you can use regular 3.5" floppy disks which are very inexpensive.
I've owned this product for approximately 5 months now and I'm fairly happy with...

I'd buy it again...
Normally, I would not spend this kind of money on a camera, digital or not. I am a point-and-shoot kind of photographer. After a friend brought an earlier version of the Mavica to my son's birthday party, I decided I needed to do some more research.
Even though it is loaded with options,...

Ready? 1-2-3 Shoot
Many users like floppies because they're familiar and offer a cable-free PC interface, which is uncommon in digital cameras. But floppy disks provide limited storage space and require an unacceptably long delay while an image is saved. Although the Mavica MVC-FD90 writes images to floppies four... Read full review »
Go Sony!
The main reason for choosing a Sony Mavica was that I had used the FD-73 in the past at work and liked it. I knew I wanted a Sony Mavica, but perhaps a newer version. With the advent of the FD-90, I knew I had found what I wanted. And, I am quite pleased with it.
I have had a very...

Art Imitates Me
As I am extremely cautious about how I spend my hard-earned money (seeing that I have no regular income), I spent about a month and a half researching the digital cameras available on the market before making my final decision. I wanted something to use for online auctions, and take pictures for my... Read full review »
Digital and Detailed
The Sony Mavica line of digital cameras are just awesome. I was looking for a digital camera that could take quick, detailed pictures with no effort whatsoever, and I've found what I was looking for in the Sony MVC-FD90. Unlike the earlier versions of digital cameras that require additional... Read full review »
Sony Mavica FD-90 is SUPERB
This is my 3rd digital camera. You can read my epinions on the Agfa 1280, and the Sony Mavica FD-83. I upgraded to the FD-90 from the FD-83 because #1 it has a big league zoom (not a rinkydink one like the 83), #2 it is memory stick ready which enables this camera to take hundreds of pictures... If you absolutely have to have a digital, buy this one
I run the National Center for Child Safety in Tennessee, and I bought this camera to use in schools and daycares in order to create ID cards for children. This entails literally thousands of pictures per month. I purchased the FD-90 because it had the desired picture quality that I was looking for... Read full review »
STILL SONY AFTER ALL THESE YEARS!
I am hooked on Sony products, I admit it. I have been using Sony Digital products since I first learned of their remarkable capabilities, and versatility. I bought my first digital camera 2 years ago,( my beloved MVC-FD 71). I bought this product as an upgrade to the original, for better resolution... Read full review »
