Beware Refurbished Models
I bought this refurbished from SimplyCheap.com. Playback quality sucked. The sound came & went and was generally scratchy or super-faint and next to impossible to hear. Sony M2000A Microcassette Transcribing Machine
M-2000 "takes" dictation, records meetings, interviews even phone conversations, using convenient microcassettes in two speeds. Then it "gives" what's been recorded, playing it back for transcribing or just listening. The M-2000 has an automatic backspace that replays the last few seconds for transcribing confirmation, and variable playback speed for greater transcribing accuracy. Compact design needs little desk space. Foot control and listening device are included.
