It's true — high definition is about more than just the number of pixels that a flat panel HDTV has. The Sony KDL32L4000's 720p LCD panel delivers more than a high definition 1366 x 768 pixel resolution. The teeny little "p" in "720p" is your sign that this flat panel HDTV is capable of displaying video content 'progressively'. Progressive scanning of video content refers simply to the way in which an image is "written" onto the screen.

Pros A lovely picture and excellent sound in a very attractive HDTV.
Cons A rather unwieldy remote control which lacks a backlight.
Recommended it? Yes
