Pros small & lightweight but not fragile, interface simple and intuitive, sound & reception
Cons price and local availability of accessories
Recommended it? Yes

This is my first cell phone and I must say I love this thing.

Where I live, the local phone company (Verizon) is expensive for even the most basic phone plan. With average use, my landline was approximately $75 to $100 a month. I saw an ad for Voicestream (free long distance, free roaming... Read full review »

Ericsson does it again with the new T39. This phone is the successor to the incredibly popular T28. I have been using the phone for over 3 weeks and am happy to report that I found no problems! I will review each aspect of the phone below.
Hopefully, soon I will also have a comparative review... Read full review »

Pros WAP browser, size, weight, features, battery life
Cons lack of support

Wow!
The Ericsson T39 is a godsend to anyone familiar with the T28.
An Internet browser was my biggest wish for the T28 and the T39 granted my wish in full.
Along with the WAP browser Ericsson also added a voice memo recorder and a built-in infrared communication port.

Here follows a somewhat more technical summary of some of the phone's functions.

There comes a moment in a persons life when they realise that their cherished product is obsolete and, ultimately, useless. This happens only far often to most people and is a terrible feeling. To aviod these moments, I have a philosophy to invest in a better product before your own is surpassed... Read full review »

Almost perfect....almost!

Pros Web capabilities, Good reviews, moderately priced, wireless headset (btooth)
Cons NO NEW DESIGN! Hard to push buttons, slow reaction time.
Recommended it? Yes

I'm not a big "features" fanatic, but I do like the BEST value phone with nifty if not futuristic capabilities. That immediately takes Nokia 8850 out of the running. The Nokia 8890 (American version) is much better since it is a true "World" phone. The Asian version plainly stinks.

Prior to about a week and a half ago, I didn't even know this phone existed until my cousin left me an ICQ message saying how much it cost in Taiwan. My interest piqued, I started doing some research around cellular newsgroups and the Ericsson site. To tell you the truth, it seemed like a pretty... Read full review »

The Ericsson T39 is the latest phone out of Sweden. One of the first phones not to be manufactured in-house by Ericsson itself, this phone is truly the first of the next generation of wireless phones.

The first thing that people will notice about this phone is the design. Small and sleek,... Read full review »
