Great Camera, Not So Great Price

The best there is at it's price
I have a Sony dcr-vx1000 and for two and a half years it was and still is an amazing camera. I have shot over forty different events from weddings to plays in those two years and never did my VX1000 fail me! I thought there is no way sony can make this product any better. I tought wrong!

PROBLEMS with this Great Camcorder
Let's start this review by stating what is WRONG with the VX2000:
1) When the 'Auto Gain Control' is turned off (and sound levels are manually operated) you'll have a terrible sounding hiss on top of anything you film. It's a well known problem, and a real drawback for this camera...
