The Sony Cybershot DSC-N1 digital camera Thin is in
Sony's new N1 is a stylishly thin compact digital camera that reminds me of the iconic little Contax T film camera. The N1 also features 8 megapixel resolution, a very good 3X zoom, and a super large 3.0" touch-screen LCD. It is small enough to be dropped into a shirt pocket and tough enough to go... Nice features, great touchscreen, user-friendly, shaky photos.
I'm a professional photographer, and I love cameras. It's not always feasible to take my Digital SLR on personal trips, making snapshots, etc., so I went looking for a small, easy to carry camera that I could toss in my bag and snap photos whenever I wished. I have an older Sony Cyber-shot, and... Read full review »
Sony DSC-N1 Preliminary Tests
Just got the camera and I must say that I am very impressed. If you've been in the market for one of these cameras for the holidays you probably already know what an ordeal it can be to come across one.
Buying experience
I initially ordered one of these a week before Christmas from...

Only a couple of complaints ...
All in all this is an great camera. Only a couple of things that bother me. First, is no view finder. The 3" LCD is fantastic, but in bright light, it can be hard to see. The next thing is that the red eye reduction is pretty bad. I'm told the reason is that the flash is too close to the lens... Read full review »
Good Quality at a Higher Price
This camera is attractive and well designed which is great. It is compact and easy to carry around. It has some terrific features which make it a good camera. It does have a high price which is affecting the review rating slightly. Although design is great in anything we purchase, we want... Read full review »
Beyond amazing camera but here are the gotchas
Having got rid of my Elph a year ago and waiting for the right camera to come out, I discovered the right camera with the Sony Cybershot DCS-N1.
I bought the camera in November and I can rave about how great the LCD, touchscreen, slideshow, video are.. or I can point out what little...

Sony Cyber shot DSC-N1
I bought this camera because I wanted more mega pixels and a bigger screen. I like that the screen has an anti-reflective coating on it. Overall, this is a great camera to just grab and shoot. The battery life is long. Read full review »
Sony Cybershot DSC N1 Digital Camera
I've had this camera for months now, I bought it a few months after it was released. I don't regret buying it at all. I even used it for a photography class & the quality of the photographs produced were pretty impressive on 8.1 Megapixels. This camera is relatively easy for complete beginners to... great camera, with amazing resolution, but there is a lot that could make it better
This camera takes amazing pictures, and the touchscreen is great, but the camera is too fat. It is a pain to take it anywhere, and it is very easy to break. Read full review »
Great camera, but it could use more zoom
I bought the Sony N1 digital camera when it first came out. I think I made my purchase in November 2005. I've had it for 2 years now.
Overall, it's the perfect size for a camera. It's not too big, and it's not too small. It's got 8 megapixels, which is definitely adequate, even 2 years...
