Perfect for the average user.

Decent sounding CD player/changer-no frills!
This Cd changer was purchased as part of a budget system at Best Buy. The price was quite reasonable for $99.00. The sales person tried selling us a DVD changer for $20 more, but that was not what we wanted.
Time for a little rant.

Great player for the money
I have a mid-high end system with an Adcom 565 preamp, and two 565 mono block amps with Dahlquist DQ20 speakers and my Marantz CD Player bit the dust. So I shopped around last nite. Guess what? All of the new CD changers have this incredibly slow random play "feature". I checked out: Denon, Yamaha, Harmon Kardon, Onkyo, Phillips, - I still need to find a JVC to try.

The features I wanted - Disappointing quality
This unit is just what I was looking for. It's almost impossible to find a dedicated 5-CD changer now. Everything tends to be DVD as well. I bought this changer for the all-shuffle ability....functions well....DRAWBACK: no "on-off power button" on the remote...what a bummer! The set-up was

Bought this for the price - I guess you get what you pay for. It would not play a CD no matter what I tried. This is a simple machine and even with a simple brain I couldn't get it to work.
