The 3-way pan head features an omnidirectional quick release camera mount, as well as precise, individual locking controls for pan and tilt movements. The "Lift n Lock" center column features an easy-to-grasp oversized locking collar, for fast setup and breakdown. Unique to the 300DX tripod are its sealed-channel "D" shaped leg extension segments. There provide exceptional strength while assuring zero rotational movement or "twist." Individual, three-position leg-angle locks allow unusual terrain adjustments or for low angle camera use. The 300DX is further enhanced with the addition of a tough, protective, clear-coat on leg extensions and center column.
