Pros Hm...none, really.
Cons Read the review.
Recommended it? No

I?m certain that Infogrames? Slave Zero must have looked great on paper. Here?s a game that attempts to incorporate all the elements of the extremely popular MechWarrior series?giant, well-armed robots, hordes of enemies, and a plethora of missions to complete?plus, it has the distinction of being... Pros Graphics, Variety Of Weapons, and Sound.
Cons Control, Loss Of Direction During Gameplay
Recommended it? No

My mother bought me this game for christmas along with the Sega Dreamcast. There wasn't many games out at the time for the system because it hadn't been out for very long.

I put the game in the system, and began playing the game...... within minutes I found myself getting lost in the... Read full review »

This Slave would rate this a Zero

Pros Just like "Doom" or "Quake"
Cons Straight forward. Blast your way to next board. No excitement.
Recommended it? No

You are a mechanical beast of a mission to kill all the other robots. It can be compared directly with such games as "Doom" or "Quake". You run around and pick up weapons. Eventually blasting your way to the next level. This game does not take advantage of the sega dreamcast qualities. It's merely... Read full review »

Pros decent graphics
Cons dark, gets old fast, no point
Recommended it? Yes

Slave Zero is a pretty cool game in that is has pretty cool graphics, a little too dark at times. I rented it and had fun for a while playng it but don't think i would ever buy it. At first it takes a while to get a good grasp on manuvering your slave, but you'll get the hang of it. But by the time... Read full review »

Pros intense battles, great sound, completely realistic environments, aggressive AI, slave is...
Cons frame rate will sometimes slow down, some levels are very difficult
Recommended it? Yes

graphics:
it can be a mixed bag. all the ingame things look very good, yet the ingame cinematics look pretty crumby. the ingame is what really counts though, isnt it?! everything is colorful, yet looks quite realistic(for a typical futuristic city).

sound:
not the best sound in... Read full review »

Cons Everything else

Finally folks, it took us about 4 months and the patience to sit through such titles as Soul Caliber, and the 2K's, but now, it is finally upon us...A Title Worse than BLUE STINGER!!!

That's right folks, if you hated you some Blue Stinger, you'll just jump out the window for joy at the... Read full review »

Pros Okay graphics, thought-out, great story line
Cons Could use Internet Deathmatch
Recommended it? Yes

With an inventive story line and graphics that look a bit like Quake's, Slave Zero is a pretty cool game. You run around a city, shoot a bunch of stuff and accomplish objectives. The game is pretty well thoughtout and it deserves a fair play by anyone. The game is very similar to Quake. If there... Read full review »

Pros Fast and fun, entertaining.
Cons A bit repetitive, can only save at level starts
Recommended it? Yes

I rented Slave Zero, and at first I wasn't incredibly impressed with it. The game seemed too simplistic and linear; just your everyday shooter. By the time I had reached the second level, it started to grow on me. The levels got more complex and the enemies got tougher, and started attacking in... Read full review »

Pros Good Graphics, almost decent story line.
Cons Plot was lost in constant killing.
Recommended it? No

What could be better than walking around on a highway in a 100-foot-tall robot? Just about anything, if you ask me. Slave Zero delivers AWESOME graphics... and not much more. The story line was decent enough, but was basically kill the little robots and kill the generators and kill everything. You... Read full review »

Slave Zero: May have had the slave, but I wasn't entrapped

bye_kennnard Mar 27, 2000

Pros Good graphics, storyline after the beginning, and multiplayer with 4 players
Cons Opening sequence, not enough variance of enemies, not enough variance of weapons,...
Recommended it? No

This game had good graphics and a strong lead to how the game ends. To the opposite of that, the game did not have an opening sequence to tell the player how the overall battle began and how the slave came to be. The multiplayer was good, but needed more weapons, more levels to battle in, different... Read full review »

Slave Zero Sega Dreamcast Factory Sealed Y Seam

There aren't many videogame players who don't enjoy giant robots, Mechanized suits of armor known simply as "mecha" dish out a whole lot more damage than a mere human can. In SLAVE ZERO, you take the role of a mentally disciplined warrior, whose mind has been linked to the control of a 65-foot tall "Slave" mecha. Players will battle a variety of technologically advanced mechanoid and human enemies, picking up plenty of firepower to use along the way. You'll need it too, against the end-of-level bosses whose power may even exceed your own. You can also take on three of your friends in multiplayer split-screen action.
