I bought the unit more than 4 years ago and it is still running strong. The power is sufficient for most of the vacuum I am doing. but the best thing is the manuveurbility it is really light and easy to drag around. Bad in the long run and bad service
It seems that a big problem with so many vacuums these days is the quality of the hose. It is certainly true of this Sharp product. The hose on ours collapsed. Replacement cost for this low-quality item is about $60. Why would anyone pay $60 for a new hose for an $80-$100 vacuum? And why would... Read full review »

inexpensive, but frustrating
I have owned this vacuum for about 1 1/2 years now. The main problem with this vacuum is that the bag doesn't stay in place. It looses suction and then I open and the bag has come dislodged (this is not from being full). So, then it is a big cleanup and have to put bag back in place.

I Love it
I have had my Sharp vacuum for several years now. We have hardwood floors and five dogs and this is the perfect thing for it. The bags are very easy to change out and the attachments work to do our sofa and curtains. You do have to be careful that the bag is installed properly or it may come loose... Read full review »
You will like this unit...
You will like this unit when you buy it, but once it breaks, forget about it. As with so many vacuums these days, the hose on this model is of particularly poor quality and kinks easily.
