We call it "The Beast"
We bought this microwave early in 2006 and unlike some other reviewers, ours has been working for close to two years. So at least it's still functioning.
It has always been a noisy microwave and rattles a fair amount. We feel like it's a bit overpowered. I know that sounds strange, but a...

Buyer Beware
I purchased this microwave in Feb 2005 after my other Sharp Carosel died after 7 years of use. I liked the features and the shortcuts. The microwave was noisy and sounded like it would shake apart. While this microwave cooks well initially it will break when no warranty is left. This microwave is UNDER 2 years old and just died. The clock still works and you can turn it on, but it does not actually power on to cook.
Don't waste your money!

The microwave worked great...

What has impressed me most is how quickly this product can warm something up. I don't use a teapot anymore, just a... Read full review »
Save Your Money

Would count down the time, the clock works, but no further operation. Upon contacting Sharp, their response was "take it to a repair shop" which was... Read full review »
