Perfect dorm microwave
It was horrible. Our microwave, the one which had served my suitemates and I so well all semester, just stopped working. What were we to do? It was the first semester of my sophomore year of College. There were six of us living in the suite at the time and we were very very hungry boys. The... Read full review »
Perfect for the Two of us . . .
We've had this little booger squatting on our counter for a few months and it does the job without being a space hog.
More expensive models I've owned seemed more suited to cooking meat but through the years I've gone off the meat-in-micorwave trip.
We do not need a microwave...

Many fast meals have come from this Sharp microwave
This Sharp Microwave Oven is the second microwave I have owned. I don't remember what brand the first one was, but the Sharp has lasted much longer. Once you're in the habit of using the microwave, you can't live without one, so when the original one stopped working, it needed immediate... Read full review »
All this for $100 bucks!
I have to have a microwave! I am 18 live alone and do not enjoy cooking, especially for just me. Needless to say there isn't much in my refrigerator, it is all in the freezer! I was lucky enough to win this microwave. Never won anything else but that's okay cause I am very happy with this... Read full review »
Asian Version R 230 Sharp is Junk
While on a recent visit to friends in Thailand,

name : R 230
wanna...

Just like the title says "SHARP" and inexpensive too!
We purchased our microwave last summer when our other one just died. This is the third microwave we have purchased in 20 years. I would never, never, never spend a lot of money on a microwave. My first one I did, but it did everything. I basically just wanted it for simple things. And my first... Read full review »
Ideal size for small counter-top space
I replaced a countertop 700W Panasonic which lasted 23 years (and was still working albeit getting grungy). I chose this due to its being one of a few of this size, with carousel and generally positive reviews. I cannot add to the many detailed reviews except to say that it works easily and well,... Turning the Heat Up
When my old microwave bit the dust, I began the search for a new one. One thing that I did find out was that when shopping for microwave ovens, it is hard to compare apples to apples. The features on each different model differ extensively.
What I was looking for was something easy to use...

What a bargain
When our old microwave died we went to sears and found this one on sale for $100! It was small enough to fit under our counter but large on the inside.
I have been very happy with this microwave. It cooks nicely and with the turnstile you don't have to stop to rotate the food. I like the...

R230E I Love my Microwave. It's so smart!
My friend had just bought the R230DW and I had to have one of my own. I scoured the internet until I found THE Sharp Carousel with CompuDefrost (very important feature that I will discuss below).
Durability
I have always been a fan of the Sharp Carousel Brand. I owned the Half Pint...
