Pros Nice Visual appeal, Very affordable.
Cons Hard to read clock, Doesn't cook good, Sounds like a toy when running.
Recommended it? No

Our old microwave went to microwave heaven two months ago after shooting lightening out at us. After seven years of good service it was time for a change in our house. Pros Nice design, easy to use, cooks evenly, minute plus, soften
Cons presets unreliable, a bit loud
Recommended it? Yes

My microwave is the Sharp r209kk. Based on Rebbecaa's description I believe this is the same microwave-perhaps a more current model. The microwave depicted on the page is not in anyway the r209. The r209 is black and sleek. It is also digital.

Pros It was cheap. $58.68 at Wal-Mart.
Cons Poor design, useless settings for defrosting, etc. They never did what they were supposed...

I bought my first compact microwave when just out of college in the mid 70s. It lasted until 2002--I kid you not. When it finally died, I bought the newest version of the same model and have essentially hated it ever since. This one only lasted 7 years and I'm rather glad it died. Never again.
