I started getting Elmo items and decorated my oldest daughters room with Elmo eighteen years ago. Now I have four other children and the youngest is eighteen months. What a gap but that's OK Elmo is still around and going strong.

The newest toy that my son just go is Rock 'N Roll Elmo. When I first saw this Elmo in the store I pointed it out to my son and was amazed when we pushed the button. My son looked a me quizzically wondering how Elmo could sing, vibrate and play the guitar. He literally strums his guitar which has three lights that go to the beat of the music. He sings ABC, easy as 123 and Shake, Rattle and Roll.

Since we have had our new Elmo, all I have to do, no matter what room in the house we are in, is say ABC and he goes running to find Elmo, pushes the button and starts dancing like crazy. Wish I could add a video to this.

Elmo requires three AA batteries which are included with purchase.(I have still not had to replace them and it has been about 3 months and he uses it everyday) Elmo is filled with polyester fiber and plastic stiffener. Because he is electronic you cannot put him in the washer, his guitar is firmly attached and you do not have to worry about any choking hazards. He is so adorable fashioned in his little leather jacket and he is in sitting position about twelve inches tall. Elmo is recommended for children 1 1/2 and up.

You can purchase Elmo at any Walmart, Target or basically and children's toy store for about $25.00. I wonder what they are going to come out with next.
