Decent & Basic
The Sennheiser MX400 is more on the low end of the Sennheiser line of earphones. For what you are paying you might as well cough up the extra $$ to buy in ear style earphones. Read full review »
These are terrible!!!!
The absolute worst earbuds I have ever used. I tried these on my iPod nano hoping that they would be better than my Sony earbuds. There is no comparison....Sony is much better. With the Sennheisers, the volume is lower, the bass less audible and the sound is distorted. Granted they were cheaper... Read full review »
Best Earbuds Money Can Buy
I'm a very careful consumer so I looked around for a long time before I settled on a pair of headphones that I actually liked. I was shopping for something portable, preferrably ear buds, that I could use with my Creative Zen Touch. I'm a stickler for quality, but at the same time I was looking for... Read full review »
A few points about usability
One of the other reviewers pointed out that the cord length was too short. It is shorter than some at a metre (3 feet) long, but it works well if you have one of the portable players with a remote control (e.g the iAudio M3 or an iRiver model). I actually think they sound better than the larger noise cancelling 'phones. The sound is never fatiguing and the frequency range is...

* THD: less than 1%
* Signal-to-Noise ratio: around 119 db
* Driver material: neodymium magnet

An earbud worth trying
The MX400 is the latest earbud from Sennheiser. Seeing the very low sticker price and past experiences with earbuds told me I was in for a torturous listening session. Well, wasn't I surprised when I could stand to listen to them for more than 5 minutes!!! Being a headphone snob I really hate to... Read full review »
