Hors d'Oeurves Best, Bagels Work
Most employers provide some type of kitchen areas for their employees. Their contents vary wildly from office to office, but often include a toaster or toaster oven. Functional if unglamorous toaster oven
As part of the kitchen remodel, all under-counter appliances were banned by The Wife. So, the old toaster oven had to go, and we needed a toaster or equivalent.
I like melted cheese on toast, so we really needed a toaster oven, not a traditional toaster. The Sanyo SK space saving toaster...

inconvenient, unpredictable
I got this product over a year ago as my toaster wasn't wide enough to hold the bagels and I thought this was something useful. I am not thrilled with it and will probably end up throwing it out. $45 down the drain ($50 but I had $5 coupon at the store for it)
