Paper Mate® Sanford Papermate Flair® Porous, Medium Point Pens
measuring 0.6 x 6 inches and weighing .5 ounces are offered in an assorted pack of 8 multi colored, writing implements featuring greens, blues, pink or red, orange, purple, and black.
The Paper Mate Flair Felt Tip Marker Pen allows audacious, communicative lines as well as slender, restrained ones for editing and amending documents, work sheets and papers.
The ground-breaking point guard designed to shield the felt tip is innovative and handy, as it helps prevent tip from fraying; writing life of the pen is extended. Quick-drying, water-based inks means little to no ink bleed through even when the Flair is held in the hands of an enthusiastic Osage County First Grade student. We do not use the pens everyday in Osage County First Grade; I find inks last at least 2 years, and even longer despite a good bit of use.
Paper Mate utilizes bold, stunning ink shades for keen appearance. Curved barrel grip supplies finest comfort during writing activity.
I am a big believer that if it ain't broke then don't fix it. Despite passage of time, and myriad changes in so many products, I am delighted to find Flair pens to be as they were decades ago. Today I keep my grade book in a program online. Back in the old days it was grade book and Flair pens for tracking 1st grade progress.
It has been many years ago that I first used Flair pens, I am a journal writer with stacks of yearly journals chronicling the highlights, to me, of my life and those I care for. My children are grown, have their own homes and families. The notes I made of a tooth lost, first step, first day of school and the like are as bright as when I first penned them.
Paper Mate's use of excellent quality non smear, non leak inks is a true plus. Genealogy materials I have been keeping for many years remain smear free, colors are bright, documents and other research materials are easily readable.
I have found Acid Free papers to be as ideal a writing surface as was paper grade book pages, or is modern work sheet materials.
Osage County First Grade is very fond of the rainbow writing we do now and again as worksheets are undertaken in the classroom. I find varying activities and method are excellent for helping to keep student interest high, kids engaged and work being done in timely fashion.
I find utilizing colored pens for self correcting at the end of the work period is a low key, non threatening method for Little Learners to locate mistakes, correct them and continue to progress. Now and then as we gather on the rug, we get out the pens. Little Learners take turns telling answers, exclamations of I got it, or Oh, I thought it was, follow, pens are used to write, correct or trace the answers already in place. Right answers are reinforced, incorrect answers are corrected, no one need feel less capable or non productive.
I like that the caps snap onto pens firmly. While Osage County First Grade does not clip pens to books, I can see that the pens in the hands of older students can be kept corralled by attaching to books for the trek as classes are changed and students are meandering the halls. Happy to recommend Paper Mate® Sanford Papermate Flair® Porous, Medium Point Pens
