Pros We like the ease of use, navigation, sound quality.
Cons Doesn't play videos, often loses tracks, problems with Rhapsody file management,...

When it comes to MP3 players, I've been through my share over the years. One of the things I love to do most on a beautiful day is go for a long walk, soaking up the rays to the beat of my favorite musique du jour; and MP3 players certainly make that a lot easier to do.

My first one, a... Read full review »

Pros Affordable, and MORE options than the iPod Nano
Cons I really haven't found any
Recommended it? Yes

Now that the holiday season is over, I have had some time to play with the newest MP3 Player to join our family. My son had asked for an iPod for Christmas, and while I did my comparison shopping, I found that the SanDisk Sansa e260 was a better deal. You're getting more for your money here. The... Cons Some glaring problems and oversights (See review)

UPDATE June 24 2008 - My initial review of this player was quite positive.

However, after I'd owned it for a while, I plugged in the cable one day and Windows informed me that it was unable to connect to the device.

I tried everything that I could think of and everything... Read full review »

Update 8/19/06
Okay, so after some extensive use I realized a few problems/comments that I feel I should tell you.

Sure the Sansa has a scratch-protective back...but the screen scratches so darn easily! I mean most of the scratches aren't noticable when the blacklight is on but a few... Read full review »

Note – I have written a similar review on the 2GB version of this mp3 player. There are similarities in my opinion, but I have throughly revised and updated the review based on my experiences with the 4GB version. I note that I bought the 4GB version after my daughter lost her 2GB version – I gave... Read full review »

Pros Large screen, awesome MiniSD slot, has a lot of potential.
Cons Controls from hell, Derivative styling, dead DRM scheme

Now that the iPod has become commonplace, the contrarians among us have been looking for a way to stand out. So far, it's been slim pickings- most iPod alternatives prove to add a few new features (FM Tuner) , or perhaps a lower price, but end up feeling like iPod knockoffs. And I'll get right to... Pros A durable and overall high quality player
Cons This player doesn't work with the Amazon Video service.
Recommended it? Yes

This music player is a good choice for anyone looking for a player but doesn't want to pay too much for one. One thing that isn't so great about it is that there are two different USB modes. As a result, some songs won't go on while one mode is engaged so you have to go to the other mode which... Read full review »

Recently, I decided to upgrade my MP3 player from the Sansa m240 that I had been using (I reviewed it last year--"Impressive little package" was the title of that review) to something bigger and better. I stuck with SanDisk for two reasons: One, the m240 performed flawlessly; and two, Sansa has... Read full review »

I have had the SanDisk Sansa e260R for about a month now. This is my first MP3 player, and I mostly purchased this one to use when I travel. So far, there are many pros and cons attached to this player.

I'll start with the good. The unit is very small (about the size of a gift card) but... Read full review »

My brother has an IPOD Nano and when I first used it, I almost broke the thing. The Sansa player was really well thought out and is very easy to use and I have had no problems since I got it.
