Pros Stylish, Nice Screen, Lightweight
Cons Short Battery Life
Recommended it? Yes

I am by no means a cell phone enthusiast, but we travel a good amount and wanted something we could use windows mobile on. We went back and forth between this phone and a Blackberry model (both were on sale through Verizon at the time). This phone won out because it has WIFI. Traveling to remote... Read full review »

Pros Easy To Use, Stylish, Nice Screen
Cons Stylus
Recommended it? No

I purchased this phone a little over a year ago, thinking it would be a great buy. Don't get me wrong, the phone has several great features, including Word and Excel. I also like that it has full browsers. The biggest con though is the stylus hanging off the side of the phone. A built-in slot for... Read full review »

Pros Takes good quality pictures.
Cons Poor battery.  Poor screen choices.  Not user friendly.
Recommended it? No

The battery doesn't last long enough, and it doesn't give you enough warning when it needs to be charged.  The screens are not user friendly.  There is no back button so often you have to exit from the screen you're in and start all over again.  The picture is very hard to see outside in the... For a financial business my wife and I run (only very limited part time for now!) we needed to purchase a new PDA for two reasons:

DANGEROUS PHONE! Do not even consider

Pros Camera
Cons Hurts!
Recommended it? No

I used this phone for two days and it turned out to be the poorest design of a cell phone I've ever come across.  It's just downright dangerous, especially if you value your eyesight.

Here's what I wrote to Verizon this morning:

I upgraded to the Samsung Omnia 2 days ago.  I have... Read full review »

Pros * excellent phone quality<br>* packed with features<br>* 8 GB Built-in...
Cons * Dangling stylus<br>* Widget screen useless
Recommended it? Yes

After using my UT Starcomm XV6700 for a couple of years, I was hooked on Windows Mobile-based phones.  However, hauling that "brick" around became a bit tedious.  Plus, I wanted to add more apps which slowed the phone down considerably.  so, I decided to upgrade to a new Pocket PC.

I'm not a... Read full review »

You need a Ph.D to operate

Pros The size of the screen.  The abitlity to select large or small print.
Cons Very difficult to navigate. Not a true touch screen, you need to use stylus often.
Recommended it? No

This is my second smart phone and it is too smart for me.  The phone is difficult to figure out and without a back button, you have to start over from the main menu every time.  Only had it for 2 weeks and had to trade it in for a new phone, the end key stopped working.  Tech support can't figure... Samsung i900 Omnia Unlocked Phone with 8 GB Memory, 5 MP Camera, GPS, Wi-Fi, Windows Mobile 6.1, and MicroSD Slot--International Version No Warranty (Black)

The i900 Omnia runs atop of version 6.1 of Microsoft's Windows Mobile Professional operating system. It supports quad-band GSM/EDGE as well as 2100MHz UMTS/HSDPA (7.2Mbps) network connectivity, with WiFi thrown in for good measure. Highlights of the Omnia include a large, 3.2-inch WQVGA (240x400 pixel) touchscreen display with stylus support. The display supports auto-rotation for apps and there is a TV-out function for when 3.2-inch just isn't large enough. The i900 Omnia supports many different music and video formats, including Ogg Vorbis music and DivX and Xvid video. An FM radio is also included in case you forget to load up the i900's 8GB internal storage with your favorite music, and you don't have a microSDHC card lying around. Music can be enjoyed with wired or Bluetooth wireless headsets, thanks to the i900's A2DP stereo Bluetooth capability. The Omnia also sports a high-spec camera, as well. The camera uses a 5 megapixel CMOS sensor with an autofocus lens and has such high end features as face and smile detection, image stabilization, wide dynamic range mode, and an automatic panoramic mode. A built-in GPS module with nav and geotagging capabilities is also on-board.The SGH-i900 Omnia uses Samsung's TouchWiz user interface extensions on top of Windows Mobile. This means that users are free to navigate with taps, sweeps, or drags and drops as well as use the built-in optical mouse controller. Text input is handled by an on-screen virtual QWERTY keyboard.
