Well worth it!
I moved up from a 32" Vizio to this Samsung 40" and it was well worth the move. My plan, after researching and reading many opinions in many different forums, was to purchase a Vizio 42" that received very high marks - a lot of bang for the buck.

Amazing picture
I got this tv about 2 weeks ago and wow it has just the most amazing picture. I played a bluray movie on it and it was so clear, then i played a dvd and i was even more stunned on how amazing the picture was.

Samsung does it again
We upgraded to this Samsung LN40A550 from our much bulkier TV. I love the beautiful gloss finish, it makes it look high end. And when you play Blu Ray, it's just awesome. poor sound quality
We just purchased this TV. Great picture quality. Very easy to set up. Manual is very in depth and requires a good deal of reading.
Hate the glossy frame which reflects light and mirrors objects in room. Horrible sound quality. The speaker is located in the back of the TV making the sound...
