Received this TV as a christmas present. Used mostly with standard def. tv shows and movies along with high def. video games. The standard def looks ok, but i dont really expect it to be stunning. This is a BEAUTIFUL tv and the screen is so bright and vibrant - it is like watching real life. It is so crystal clear.
