Pros Good picture, sound, fit nicely with the layout of our living room.
Cons Now junk after only 2.5 years. What a huge waste of Money!

Purchased at SEARS in June 2004. Watched as our Main TV. Paid $1000 and financed for one year no payment, no interest. Used to enjoy DVD and movies as well as local TV and Dishnet. Pros Great picture, decent input options.
Cons It did require repair. Lack of separate settings for each input.
Recommended it? Yes

The picture on this monitor is as fine as you can ask for the money. I believe this TV can now be purchased for around $999.00 and that makes it a bargain compared to fixed resolution set (i.e. plasma, DLP, LCD). Pros nicely designed cabinet, fit room decor well
Cons big, heavy and hard to move. Built with "planned obsolescence in mind". Poorly...

I purchased this tv in November of 2004. In December of 2005 the convergence board went out on it. Fortunately Samsung stepped up and replaced the part but they sent the local repair center the wrong one. So long story short, I waited 2 months to get my tv back.
