I use my Samsung Epic quite a lot -- at least an hour a day for calling, texting, surfing the web and playing games.  Even after very heavy use, this phone is holding up quite well.  I did have to replace one shortly after I first bought it due to a loose charging port.  They told me... Last December, a year ago - it came time for me to upgrade my HTC Hero. As a Sprint Premier Gold member, I could update my phone annually - and I took advantage of it.   Since Sprint is doing away with this program- this month I'm due for another upgrade. Yet, I love my current phone.. my... Read full review »

Samsung Galaxy S for Sprint... Is it Truly Epic?

Two things you should know about me before reading this review: I am legally blind with limited functional vision (you'll see why this is important to the review later) and I am a former Sprint Customer Service Rep, having left the company only earlier this year (prior to the launch of the Epic)... Epic 4G: EVO 4G's Brother from Another Mother

Sprint.  Ah yes.  Their WiMAX-based "4G" network has started to blanket a few more areas.  Justifying the $10 extra a month is the much faster data rate it offers.  And no, there is no way to avoid it.  Also, their 4G network doesn't cover as much as their 3G network, but... Read full review »

This phone is amazing.  I don't live in a 4G area, but the speed on 3G is pretty decent, which is a good thing, because from what I've read, 4G WiMax--as opposed to LTE--is not so great when you are in a building--4G WiMaxdoesn't penetrate buildings as well as 3G or LTE.

HTC EVO 4G or Samsung EPIC 4G? This is what I had been contemplating this for the few painful months prior to my purchase. Reading reviews, watching product unboxings over and over and over again. A devout Sprint customer by contract with a plan that allows the primary user to upgrade their phone... Read full review »
