Pros Cute characters. Would-be entertaining storyline...
Cons Bad game play. Not very fun at all.
Recommended it? No

Saga Frontier was a gift to me from my parents for Christmas a while back. I played it on and off for a few months until I came to my final conclusion that this game just plain sucks!

What pulled me in in the first place were the cute little anime characters and designs. Plus, it is a... Read full review »

Something to hold you over...

Pros This game is interesting in the way you learn new techniques in mid-battle.
Cons Not exactly the best story line.
Recommended it? Yes

Overall I believe Saga Frontier was a game worth playing, and in fact, to play more than once. It's a great game to hold you over when your waiting for a new, better rpg to come out. I bought this game because it has a fighting system that varies from others. If you liked this, I'd recommend : Saga... Read full review »

Pros Fun battles, interesting idea
Cons Doesn't make any sense. At all.
Recommended it? No

This game was very interesting. I never actually bought it, but a friend of mine left it at my house and didn't really care about getting it back. I beat the game with Blue and found that the ending sucked. The ending sucked (don't worry I'm not giving anything away) because there really wasn't... Read full review »

Pros entertaining, good stories
Cons graphics are bad but arn't horrible
Recommended it? Yes

When I first bought this game, I thought it was pretty lame. I didn't understand why eveytime I touched a monster I would have to fight. I thought, "What a waste of time." But since then, my feelings have changed. I relised, after exploring some websites for the game, the fighting was the whole... Read full review »

Pros There are none.
Cons Everything
Recommended it? No

I first played this game thinking, hey it's from Square, it can't be that bad. Was I ever wrong. This game has lousy play control, the story-line gets gets either repetitive or confusing(either one or the other is present at all times), and the graphics aren't all that great. The music in the game... Read full review »

Pros Breaks down those Square Soft is perfect idea
Cons Using the playstation without a game in is more fun, and makes alot more sense
Recommended it? No

Hey, it's Square Soft the company that brought us wonderful, monumental RPG's like the Final Fantasy Octilogy and Xenogears. These guys should be immune to bad games right? Saying things like that always get's reality ready to smack me in the face like Saga Frontier did. I thought, "Man this is... Read full review »

I don't care what anyone says, I still thought the game was a blast!

Pros Fun gameplay, very colorful, beautiful character designs, the character Asellus.
Cons Gets un-intentionally hillarious at times. I cannot stand the character Emilia!
Recommended it? Yes

INTRO: Another game series that gets bashed to no end. SaGa Frontier, alongside the never released in the west "Romancing SaGa 3" probably were my favorite Squaresoft games made, besides FF7, the Seiken Densetsu/Secret of Mana series and Rudra's Treasure/Rudra no Hihou. Well, but this review is... Read full review »

First thing is first.
I REALLY wanted to like this game.
When i first saw it i thought "Hmmm 7 characters, sounds like a long and great game ahead of me."
I put it in and after i started and got in the first fight i must say i was extremely disappointed.
With very awkward controls... Read full review »

Pros 7 quests, the battling system
Cons little to no story
Recommended it? No

This was one of the first games I got for playstation and I liked it. Ok it's no Final Fantasy but it can stand it's ground. With seven different quests gave you hours of enjoyable gameplay and even more if you check out all the sidequests. It did have it's fault. You never had enough money but... Read full review »

Pros Great graphics, great story-line
Cons None
Recommended it? Yes

I popped this game into my PSX and totally was immersed in this great game. Like many other people say, it's no Final Fantasy, but it sure has it's own flare. It reminds me of Chrono Trigger from SNES, with the small sprites and the great story.
The controls are very easy to get used to. The... Read full review »
