I put this baby monitor on my baby shower registry almost three years ago and it has turned out to be such a dud. In my pregnant state, I imagined my husband and I doing chores around and outside the house while our daughter slept snuggly in her crib. I was sure having two receivers would be great... Pros clear sound, little static, reasonable range, night light, portable receivers
Cons battery compartment not easily accessible, analog

I put this monitor in my registry because I was not looking to get a fancy overpriced baby monitor. I figured that most analog monitors would produce a certain amount of static regardless of price. Pros Very basic, pretty cheap.
Cons Epileptic fit inducing nightlight, battery useage, dismal reception.
Recommended it? No

This is a 3-unit system - one baby receiver and two parent monitors. All 3 units are powered by a/c, or you can use 9V batteries in the parent units. Features 49mhz for up to 400' range & nightlight on Baby's Unit.
