Pros Convertible only need one carseat!
Cons Hard to remove and put cover back on along with base removal
Recommended it? Yes

I bought this carseat for my daughter. She was a small child, so technically she was not the size for a forward facing child seat until she was between 18 months and 2 years. The older she got the more she hated her infant carseat, so we went for a convertible carseat, only option. I looked online... Read full review »

Do not buy this car seat

Pros Looks nice. Price was reasonable.
Cons We don't think it is safe.
Recommended it? No

I bought this car seat about 6 months ago.  After less than daily use, the plastic clip that holds the harness straps together (at the baby's chest) became useless.  The company acknowledges the piece is "plastic and apt to become ineffective with use" and is good about... Read full review »

Not really impressed

I have this safety first seat for my daughter and I don't like it very much. The recline feature on this seat is not that good. It's really a pain to install into other cars whenever I'm switching cars. The straps twist. It gets dirty super quick and seems to collect any dirt it can! It is also... Read full review »

Cons Bulky
Recommended it? Yes

We had this as our first convertible car seat until we were in a car accident and of course got rid of it because of that. We now have the eddie bauer one which I believe its this seat but with just the eddie bauer print/design on it. Both seats are so heavy and bulky, which to be honest most... Read full review »

Wouldn't Buy It

byBrittanyScott Apr 7, 2010
1 Helpfuls 2 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Portable, Lightweight
Cons outgrown too fast, Poor Quality, Lacks features
Recommended it? No

I wouldn't buy this seat again. It's outgrown too quickly rear facing, the shell height is short, the forward facing weight limit is too minimal for my liking. Most kids outgrow this rearfacing before 2, and forward facing at about 3. Those aren't acceptable limits for our family. It generally... Read full review »

Difficult to Install

This was quite difficult to install.  We had to try 2 or 3 times before it seemed safe.  It is quite bulky in our station wagon.  On the positive side, it is comfortable for our child.  She perked up and seemed excited to have more room while in the car.   Read full review »

I bought the SAFETY 1ST Alpha Omega Elite 3in1 Convertible Car Seat because it looked strudy and affordable.  It is strudy and affordable, but very difficult to install,  Once installed this is a very safe carseat and does move at all.  I am so worried about that because I heard every inch it moves... Pros Very stylish, comfortable, easy to adjust straps
Cons Too big as a rear facing car seat.

I bought the Bella model of this car seat for my daughter after being involved in a car accident and had to get rid of my Evenflo Embrace Infant Seat.  I decided it was time for a convertible car seat and this one had a lot of options that I was looking for.

First off it is very stylish.  I... Read full review »
