We just put this crib together and are so pleased!! After reading all the reviews I was very apprehensive about ordering it but it was my favorite so I went for it. I ordered it from walmart as they had a better price. It came a week early and it was in perfect condition with no scratches or dings... Read full review »

Storkcraft cribs are high quality, with some quirks

Pros Beautiful finish, Sturdy construction, 5-in-1 crib, trusted brand name, Product of Canada
Cons Hard to follow, lacking instructions, bumpers will not fit, extra pieces to keep up with.
Recommended it? Yes

When I first started looking for a crib for my 6 month old son, Storkcraft caught my eye. I have the Rochester Crib, which is part of the Stages collection. It has a Cognac finish, and also comes in natural, oak cherry, honey pine and white. I do believe that the Cognac is the easiest to find, but... Read full review »

3 years ago, i bought this crib along with the matching changer/dresser. i found it at burlington coat factory. i was able to look at it on display before purchase. it was hard to follow the directions, but even though this was my first child, my husband and i were able to figure it out anyway... Beautiful crib with uncoordinated instructions

Pros Beautiful dark wood, sturdy, reasonable price, DIY-assemble
Cons Uncoordinated instructions, soft wood, wobbly drawer
Recommended it? Yes

The Rochester crib is good looking and sturdy. Good news is that it is not 'made in China' but Canada.
The dark brown painted wood look luxurious, the wood is actually light (i drilled a hole as a test) but dark painted. Compared to other similar dark furniture I like that this one does not... Read full review »

Overall good, but doesn't hold up.

Pros easy assembly, attractive
Cons flimsy construction, weak rail latch system, finish easily chipped and scratched
Recommended it? No

This crib was great when my son was a very small infant. It was easy to assemble even 8 months pregnant, and easy enough to lower to each height setting as we needed. (The drawer was pretty unsafe and we removed it once he became mobile at all though...)
However, now that he is almost a... Read full review »

Cons Bottom drawer is problematic--difficult to install

Well, our little girl has grown up and has moved on from her Storkcraft Baby Crib! It is a bit sad for us but she loves her new big kid bed so we just have to deal with it. We used the crib with our daughter for about 2 and a half years. I don't really have much bad to say about it. It's a very... Read full review »

My wife and I recently had our first child, and the decision of what crib to purchase was a painstaking one. The first and foremost concern for us was safety, followed by price. While researching cribs, one recommendation I found was to stick with a simple crib design. Additional details in the... Read full review »

Pros goes from crib to full-sized bed. has a drawer under it.
Cons this brand is only available online. No stores carry it in stock.

We ordered this item from Allkidsstuff.com they had free shipping on this item and it only took 2 weeks to be shipped to us. Storkcraft has really worked to have good shipping packaging. The crib came in great shape, it was double boxed with foam between to prevent any damage in transit.

Storkcraft = Poor Quality

bybernejc Jan 26, 2010
1 Helpfuls 2 Helpfuls Was this review helpful? Comment
Pros I bought it for the reasonable price and simple delivery of Walmart site-to-store.
Cons Obviously the quality is subpar and a hazard.
Recommended it? No

I have the original dropside version of this crib and want to let prospective buyers know what poor quaility cribs Storkcraft produces. The rail has several major craks in it with peices of wood sticking out when our toddler rattles it back-n-forth. This is obviously a quailty issue. When reported... Read full review »

Pros Easy to Use, Sturdy, Affordable
Cons Bad drawer design
Recommended it? Yes

This crib has held up well for us.  We are using it with our third child currently.  It is sturdy and well made.  The rail goes up and down smoothly, though I usually just lift the child up over it without lowering the rail.  The biggest complaint is with the drawer.  It... Read full review »
