Good for cooking for 1 or 2. Small basket sits to the side.
I purchased the Rival Cool Touch Deep Fryer because it was on sale for $25. I got what I paid for. The basket reduces the amount of food you can fry by half. The plug never stays in place. But, the timer makes it more convenient and the lid reduces odors.

A decent fryer for the price
This fryer does a pretty decent job. If you want some french fries for 2 people or so, or to fry 3/4 lb. of chicken wings, this does the job adequately. Great place to store your oil but that is all
I bought this because it looked great and it was less than $30. Well I found out it is a wonderful storage unit for your oil and that is it - It does not fry anything well, not even French fries - My fry pan does a better job!! Read full review »
