We've taken this classic cake and developed our own recipe to present a rich, layered cake made from scratch and handcrafted in our bakery using white buttercream frosting and dark chocolate shavings to create a perfect look and taste.

Our 2 layer 8 inch Red Velvet cake is made only with the finest of ingredients; the natural cocoa powder and fresh buttermilk giving it that rich red color, and is decorated with vanilla infused cream cheese frosting and cake crumbles to adorn it. Dessert has never looked this good, especially with this signature item in our collection of baked goods!

Red Velvet has long been a traditional American dessert, but it hasn't always been so delicious. During World War II, it is reported that the rationing of cocoa lead bakers to get creative with their recipes, forcing them to use boiled beets to enhance the color of the cakes. Luckily, beets are no longer the ingredient of choice, and cocoa has been brought back to give a rich color and a delicate chocolate flavor. Our red velvet is a light, moist cake with a dash of cocoa to add the subtlest hint of chocolate.
